Amber Jipp painted an illustration for me of an experience with one of her supporters. As an elderly woman, she told Amber, "If I could be on Emory's campus doing what your doing, I would be there in a heartbeat. But given my age and situation, I can't, so I want to support you in anyway I can." This woman's articulation of why she financially supports campus ministry caused something to click for me. My sentiments mirror hers, and while in this moment I can't be doing the work of a campus minister, I want to support it in anyway I can. InterVarsity shaped me indelibly during college. The vision it held and the community it fostered carry over in powerful ways into my post-college life. I support InterVarsity because I strongly believe that the care students receive from InterVarsity staff will lead them into the compassionate heart of Christ.
